Abstract      Aim: To evaluate and study the management of uterine leiomyoma (fibroids) in a tertiary care center in South India. Objectives: To study the epidemiology, clinical features, gross and microscopic characters, histopathology of endometrium, other associated factors like obesity, HTN(Hypertension), DM(Diabetes Mellitus), and usage of OCP’s, and various modalities of management of fibroids in uterus. Methodology: A prospective study was carried out on 110 cases of uterine leiomyoma (fibroids) by us in Indian women who came to our hospital in Secunderabad. Various aspects like age at diagnosis, clinical features, associated medical disorders, and modalities of management were studied over a period of 2 years, i.e. from July 1^st 2012 to 30^th June 2014. Results and Conclusion: The various results spanned from, similar to markedly varied, when compared to standard western textbook data.
