: The steady two-dimensional laminar flow of a viscous incompressible electrically conducting fluid past a continuously moving surface is considered in the presence of uniform transverse magnetic field. Taking suitable similarity variables, the governing boundary layer equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations and then solved numerically by standard techniques. The effects of the various parameters involved are discussed graphically on velocity and temperature distributions, whereas the values of f’’(0) and –θ’(0) are tabulated for different parameters.
