On Exact Moments of Lower Generalized Order Statistics from a Class of Exponential Distributions and its Characterization

In this paper, we establish exact expressions for single and product moments of lower generalized order statistics from a family of exponential distributions. Further, on using the expression for conditional moments of lower generalized order statistics, we obtain the characterization for the above class of exponential distributions. For a particular case, these results verify the corresponding results of Khan et al. (2012).
